First, let me say that these boots do run a touch narrow/small. Keep that in mind.

Next, I ordered a pair which arrived on time. Box was fine, packaging was fine, so I was happy to try on my boot.

Took the first one out of the box and noticed the scuff marks along the toe. We're not just talking something that you buff out with your elbow, we're talking a small nick/cut plus scuffs.

Now for the worst part. The size I'd ordered was no longer in stock which left me with two choices. Keep these knowing I got a damaged pair or go without black boots (for a business trip tomorrow morning). Guess I'm going with another pair of boots.

Being a large footed man let me review the sizing/fit:

- I wear a 15; these felt just a touch tight where Dan Post tends to bit a touch lose.
- The inside feels pretty nice . . . much like my Justin boots from a while back (same family as Tony Lama)
- Construction seems solid.

I'd recommend that a wearer don thin socks if they purchase their size. A half size larger *might* be an option for some folks. I'm docking this two stars for arriving in scuffed condition (1 star) and for no replacement (2nd star). Your experience may vary.
