I have to admit I bought these at my local store, not through Amazon. I usually wear a size 9 to 10 in US sizes and a 40 or 41 European. When buying Danskos, I get a 41 in a boot or clog so that I have room for nice cozy socks, but for these I got a 40, intending to wear them with stockings or barefoot (both of which I have done in these, and are equally comfortable). I have a narrow heel, a moderatly high arch, and somewhat wide foot through the metatarsals. I also do 2 to 3 miles of walking to and from school, and around campus before working retail at a dance store for about 4 hours. Not only are my feet still in great shape when I get off work, but I even feel fine to go out dancing after, and these shoes still feel more comfortable than my dance shoes (which cost almost as much)! They look just as good with skirts as any other dress shoe but the difference in feel is light years apart. These shoes also have excelent traction in the rain, are water tight to keep my feet dry, and don't slip on my heels.
I see a lot of feet in my job, and believe me it really pays in the long run to get yourself good shoes. How much better is it that you can find comfortable shoes that also look so cute?
