This is a beautiful boot with supple leather. I am 5'2" with 12.75" calves, so finding boots it admittedly hard for me. That said, the shaft was just a bit too tall, hitting right at the bottom of my kneecaps. I might have let that slide but they were also quite roomy in the ankle, leading to unattractive bunching. When I found another pair (not as pretty) that fit me better for half the price, my decision was made for me. I was sad to return these. If you are taller with slender calves, give them a try!
