I217;ve been running in Mizuno shoes for about 10 years, and the Sayonara is the best yet…in fact, it may be the best “all around221; shoe I have ever worn in my 30+ years as a runner. I have been using Wave Inspires for long runs and races over 10 miles, and Wave Elixirs for track work and short races. I’ve had the Wave Sayonaras for about 10 days, and have not even thought about putting on the Inspire or the Elixir. The toe box has lots of room and my heal feels anchored. Stability seems about the same as the Elixir, and I think this shoe would work fine for a Half or maybe a Marathon. The upper is amazing…I think I could run sockless in this shoe with no problems. These shoes aren't just a little better, they are much, much better.
