I needed a waterproof boot for walking, with a low heel and good traction. After trying several brands and styles in the store, I ordered these online. They are nearly perfect. The one and only drawback is I wish they were not so wide across the ball of the foot, since my feet are fairly narrow. Worn with a hiking weight sock, they are very comfortable, but feel sloppy with a regular weight sock. The instep, ankle and heel fit are great and they don't slip. Love the looks with pants or skirts. They're also light, warm, and have good arch support.
