I wanted to love these - I have the Jambu sugar sandal and it is insanely comfortable - But the Amber bootie a total miss. They are not Leather as stated. They are Faux leather and not a "good" faux - you can tell a mile away they are fake. They scream vinyl. The zippers are difficult and feel cheap. The "memory foam" footbed was not as cushiony as the sandals and there is an odd toe grip bump that I found uncomfortable. The tops of the boots are not flexible and I doubt they would soften much due to the double layer man made stuff.
I got the black and they do look like Herman Munster shoes. They might work with a skirt - but I wanted them to wear with jeans.
The only positive thing I can say is they are lightweight... and run true to size.
