First time I wore the boots, a button fell off. I called customer service and I was told they can send me a replacement button, then I need to take the boot to a shoe repair store and have it fixed. I can get reimbursed up to $25. I need to contact Merrell and submit the receipt to get reimbursed. OR, I can send them back and get a new pair, but it will take 2-3 weeks. When I asked why it wouldn't be expedited, considering this brand new, $175 boots that have an obvious flaw (seeing all the other reviews on the internet) wouldn't be taken care of immediately. I am SO unimpressed by both the boot and the customer service. I'm going to return them and get my money back. This company should stand by their products. Unacceptable.
