I wear these boots in my duties as a police officer in a Cleveland Suburb. I love these boots for their shine capabilities with some kiwi and their comfort. I buy a new pair every January only because the soles do not last. By the end of twelve months the soles are completely gone and usually have holes in them that trap rocks and dirt. I do not do any extended foot patrol other than the usual building checks, house checks, prisoner checks, etc. The upper portion of the boot holds up well and the height is nice in the winter time. Found these to be the cheapest price on Amazon. Have tried other brands of paratrooper boots but these seem to have the best quality for holding up the longest. Other boots had snaps and zippers that broke.
