I'm a serious runner who puts in about 40 miles a week, and runs 5k - halfs. I protect against chronic knee injuries, so motion control is extremely important to me. I was pretty ticked when Adidas replaced the Adistar Control with the Salvation. The Salvation was a terrible shoe. I hardly ever ran in it because I didn't trust it. After trying other motion control shoes from other brands, I reluctantly tried the Sequence. It is much closer in fit/performance to Adistar Control. I've put in about 30 miles in them so far and they are comfortable and stable. I will probably pick up a second pair of Sequence, lest Adidas phase them out!
