I ordered these boots and the Scarly (same boot, wide calf) because I sometimes have a problem with the calf being too narrow for my muscular legs. Not so with these boots. The calf is a perfect fit for me with room for jeans. They run at least a 1/2 size large. I normally wear a 9 and ordered an 8-1/2. I have plenty of room in these for thick socks. One thing I noticed, the buckles jingle like I've got spurs. Good thing I don't work in a library.

Okay, so after wearing these boots out for the day, I am editing my review. The forefoot was too narrow for my foot (Enzos are usually very comfortable and plenty wide for me), and the heel slipped constantly, providing me with blisters on both heels. The leather did not give and did not have a supple feel. I will not be wearing these boots again. They're also made in China.
