I purchased these because I have heard great things about them. We live "in the country" and have several pets to keep up with. Plus, my kids' bus stop is a good 1/4 mile from our house. So I knew these would come in handy. They arrived the same day we were installing an invisible fence for the dogs. The temp had dropped and we were freezing. These kept my feet warm all day. The next day, we had to finish and walk our acreage, putting flags in the ground to mark off the border...in the rain. My feet were perfectly dry and never cold. It was about 40degrees out. I felt awful for my husband and sons because they were all soaked through. So I ordered my oldest a pair and he's been volunteering to take the trash out, just so he can wear them. ;-) I plan on ordering more pairs for the rest of the family in the near future.

I had no trouble with the fit. I normally wear an 8.5 so I ordered a 9 and they've been fine. It took a few times of wearing them to break them in. They fit fine at first, but getting them on and off was a bit of a challenge. And I wouldn't recommend slipping your bare feet into them to take the dog out real quick. They suctioned to my feet that way and it took a ton of effort to get them off..lol.
