Yet another yummy pair of Birkies to add to the collection. After I ordered them I realised that I'd ordered the soft footbed and worried that it wouldn't be as good as the regular firm style. Well, I got them today, slipped them on and was in heaven. No need to break these babies in, they are as comfy as can be. I'm done with house slippers - with my flat feet I need footwear that will give me more support and give my knees and back a rest. I found that after wearing ordinary slippers doing housework, cooking etc. my back and legs would hurt (especially having all wood and brick flooring throughout the house) a lot. These Birkies with the closed toes will keep my feet snug and warm, and will alleviate foot/leg/back fatigue. I especially like the avocado colour too! Love my new Birkenstocks!
