My 8th grade son LOVES these wrestling shoes!! School colors are red and black, so these are perfect. They are a unique style you defintely don't see on the mat too often. He loves that the camo pattern is on the sole of the shoe as well. He wore a size 8 last year, so we bought a size 9 and they fit perfectly with enough wiggle room for more growth. They are still to new to comment on wear and tear, but being an ASICS brand I think they would hold up just as well as the other ASICS we have had in previous years. Overall, nice ooking shoe. A little pricey, but we splurged a little and gave them as a birthday gift.
