For the full story, see my review for the regular-shaft version of these boots. They are fantastic boots, but be careful with your calf sizing. If you wear a shoe size larger than size 8, the calf circumpherence goes up approx. 2/3" every size above an 8. I ordered an 11 and the calf was 19" around on the boot (my calves were 17" around) and they looked rediculous. I rated these with 5 stars because they are a wonderful boot, very comfy, and it's fantastic that they come in a wide-calf for those that really need a wide calf, but I had to return them and buy the regular-calf boots instead.
