Everything about this sandal was perfect except the pebbly Nubuck leather that was used for the Anemone color. The information on the page and the image for this color does not reflect that it is pebbly or Nubuck. The leather straps were hard and stiff even with a little twisting and massaging the leather to soften it up. It was very difficult to adjust the straps trying to get the leather to bend and push it through the buckle, especially on the toe strap in the hole closest to the end of the strap. And the short toe strap leather that the buckle was on curved down and poked into the top of my foot. It hurt so bad, even after trying to straighten out that curve, it just wouldn't. And after two days, two hours each, with a piece of moleskin under that piece of leather, it was no use. I had to return them. I exchanged that pair for the Mayari in the Antique Orchid smooth and supple leather. This pair is totally perfect! I love them. They feel great right out of the box! As usual, Amazon customer service was great too. So 4 stars for the Anemone color sandal and 5 stars for the Orchid. The leather made the difference. Thank you, Amazon!
