The fit on these shoes was a little large compared to what I generally buy. I have noticed slippage on the back heels. I have used some tongue inserts that definately help and make the shoe acceptable. I didn't have time to return or try a different size so I am somewhat stuck with respect to this issue; however, again I bought the size that I always buy. Now I do have to say that in my humble opinion that the "dialed in" line of shoes are some of the most fashionable shoes ever made by Rockport. These shoes look sharp and make a statement where ever I go. The downside is the if I have done a lot of walking, I definately feel pain on the outside edge of the ball of my foot. I do not think these shoes have quite the "Walkability" that most Rockport shoes have; still for this style of shoe, they are more comfortable then any other shoe of this style.
