First, not being a fan of zippered boots, these have changed my thoughts about that. I got the boots on a day off, put some kiwi to them and packed them for my next duty day along with my already broken in boots, just in case. I put these boots on before work and spent the next 13hrs in them without any discomfort or issues, they were comfortable, lightweight and felt like wearing sneakers. The only adjustment that I had to make to them was with the lacing to loosen them to accommodate the heavier socks and the bottom of the legs of my thermals that I wasn't wearing at home when I laced them up. Overall the boots shine easily, are comfortable and appear to be extremely well made from the sole to the padded collar. The zipper feels solid and moves easily
