I have a really bad back. I mean, really bad, with a plate. I mostly bought these boots for the ice and snow in the winter, but I now wear these around the house too instead of my slippers. They give me great support and really help my back tremendously. I get a lot more done now around the house than I used to be able to do because I was in so much pain. Since we haven't gotten the rain or snow we normally would have by now, I haven't been able to test them that way, but looking at the soles I think they'll do great. These boots are also extremely comfortable on my feet.

This was my birthday treat from me to me 3 pair, different colors of course!! David Tate Women's Rosette Evening Sandal,Blue,8.5 W US Review

Pretty Sandals, however I returned them because my feet slid so far forward that my toes came over the front edge. My foot was so forwardly displaced in the sandal that the outer side of my foot was pinched by the side strap. Very unsightly and uncomfortable. I suppose I could have engineered something on the shoe in the foot pad area area to stop the forward slide. If I was able to keep my heels in contact with the back strap and not slide forward I would have kept them. I wear a 10 M & have regular to high arches so it may have been because the shoe has no arch support. The heel height was comfortable even for someone who does not customarily wear heels and has had a total knee replacement in one knee.
I ordered the silver color and it is a pretty color not too light & not too dark. Between a silver & a pewter color.

I replaced these with the Lila Slingback Sandal by Annies Shoes found here on Amazon.

I have been wearing them through the snow, rain and just about every day. because of the the distressed leather, they break in really easy and they have a really awesome color to them the more you break them in. When I first tried on these shoes I loved them - super comfy, plus they're cute. I will also mention that the insole of one of the shoes was bent, probably like that from the manufacturer, so it made that shoe feel a little off. The interchangeable system they have is really nice. So, I wore them to class... I really do like the softer soles, but the shoe rubbed the back of my ankles raw. Unfortunately I was stuck in them until I could go back to my car to change into my other sneakers. I gave my ankles some time to heal, then tried them with a different insole. The thickest ones are the most comfortable and rub my heel the least, but after walking for less than ten minutes I can feel the backs of my heels getting raw. Also, I was wearing them with socks that covered my ankles every time I've tried these shoes.

Bottom line - they're comfy if you're going to sit and not walk. The soles of the shoe, as well as the interchangeable insoles, are nice, but the design of the shoe just wasn't working for me. I've never had a problem with new shoes rubbing the back of my ankles raw. I'm so disappointed! I thought I would love these shoes. I would NOT recommend this particular shoe, though I am thinking about giving another goLite shoe a try.

EDIT:
For reference, I have narrow heels, a borderline wide forefoot, and very high arches. I have since switched to barefoot shoes (Merrell) and have had no problems.
