This boot is not made for the wider calf and I think you'd have to have some pretty skinny legs to have room to tuck in your pants. I can sometimes wear a boot that is not created for wide calves so I'm not THAT big and thought a short boot wouldn't be an issue... I could pull it on but it was tight and uncomfortable and would be painful if I kept it on all day.

I wear an 8 1/2 and ordered a 9 and although the foot was clearly narrow, it felt too long and extra roomy around the ankles. Just an awkward fit for me overall.

I decided not to keep them but since this is a seller in the UK, I'm out of luck unless I want to pay a small fortune to mail them back (nearly the cost of the boot!) as the buyer is 100% responsible for returns. They don't even create a mailing label for you. It's funny because they expedited delivery but don't help with returns. So I will be giving them away as a gift. Lesson learned... I will never order from an overseas seller again. DO NOT order these boots from this seller unless you are confident they will actually fit.

And yes, I realize there is a separate feedback rating for sellers... but considering the cost involved in the case of returns... buyers should have multiple opportunities to be aware of what they're getting into.

However, if you have the right foot size and calf size... I'm guessing you will be very happy with this boot. It really is a nice looking boot and I really wish it did fit. I can't speak on the long-term quality and durability, but it looks great.
