This is my 4th pair of Blundstones. I had my last pair of black Blundstones (500) for about 8 years. I still have my brown pair now going on 5 years and still as comfortable as ever. I wear them everywhere unless there is a very formal function. The up-front cost may seem steep however consider that you will own these for many many years. I was recently on an airport tram and I overheard a group commenting on my boots. One gentlemen also had Blundstones and we spent the rest of the ride discussing the merits of ownership. I have yet to meet anyone that does not love these boots.
