I have been a Dansko clog wearing professional for over 5 years. I've always bought the same black regular clog with satisfaction and have not gone beyond the clog product. Partly because I was SO satisfied with the clog, and because if I didn't like another style of Dansko I would be facing a $ loss.
FEAR no more. I went with this shoe and was thinking it would be too narrow, the heel too high and I'd end up returning it.
I wear a women's size 8-8.5 (post pregnancy) so went with the 39. Danskos always have give after breaking them in, and with the way this shoe runs I could have tried smaller.
It took 2 days for the shoe to form to my feet and walk. This was uncomfortable but not huge pains. Then by day 3 or 4: done. Broken in and feels like my clog. I could wear it all day long while taking walks on my lunch.
I also love the look it gives my pants! Totally different than the clunky clog.
