I have huge issues with most shoes. Not sure why but in the store they may feel fine but when I go to put them on in the morning, they just plain hurt. I have long been a fan of Danskos. They literally cured my feet of a plantar fasciitis issue. But sometimes the clogs are just not convenient to wear especially in the winter. I had high hopes when I bought the pair of Ardens and WOW! I can't say enough about how great these shoes are. I have worn them everyday in Europe the past 2 weeks with ZERO issues. And I did some serious walking on cobblestone streets, up and down hills, even in the rain. I probably have half ruined them but no problem. I plan to buy a few more pair. I had no discomfort, no blisters- not one complaint. This has got to be a first. One day during this trip I switched to a pair of Keens because I was climbing up a huge mountain to a castle. By the time I climbed back down, I was in pain. Back into my Ardens for the remaining days of the trip. Buy some. You will love them!
