Shoe arrived today!! This Gold Cup version of the Sperry Top-Sider A/O is super comfortable and soft!! Unlike Sebago boat shoes, this Gold Cup requires no break-in. This shoe came with a blue colored Gold Cup shoe sleeves ( shoe bags ) in the box!! The deer skin liner is easy on my feet as I walk quite a bit. The color Brown is exactly as shown on the Amazon website. I also noticed that the eyelets are layered with 'gold' for rust protection. How long it will protect against rust and tarnishes remains to be seen. The leather used in this Gold Cup version of the Authentic Original is softer and definitely higher quality than the regular Authentic Originals. THIS IS EXPECTED when I paid premium price for it... most expensive pair of shoes I have bought! I wear a 9.5M in the regular A/O and the 9.5M in this Gold Cup version fit the same. No more, no less. All in all, I hope this Gold Cup A/O will last me for quite sometime.
