I have these in the dark brown suede and love them. I'm 5'8" with 15.5" calves and they reach an inch below my knee and easily accommodate leggings and jeans. Very comfortable. I wear a size 10.5 but always buy my boots in an 11 for that extra toe wiggle room. I'm glad I did because the way these boots come to a point that extra half size worked out. If your feet are m/w width I suggest you go a half size bigger. I wore them all day with zero breaking in time and no foot pain or fatigue. You can even use a thicker sock.

I liked them so much I ordered the brown leather, which appears more of a tan in the picture. Very disappointed because they're several shades darker (more of a cognac color). In Amazon's defense, I checked several other sites and they're all pictured the same way. Even though the color wasn't what was pictured they are very nice looking. I'm on the fence and may return them simply because I already own too many pairs of brown and I'm not a big fan of cognac.
