Merrell Men's Traveler Rove Leather Slip-On,Black,7 M US Review

I was looking for a more dress up shoe than my old Merrell's Jungle Moc Slip-On. I really like the comfort of the old, and the ease of slip-on. I thought the Traveler Rove with the leather may be more dress up with a slicker outside leather, but it is more "pebbled" and grainy. I really like walking in my Nike air leather shoes with very thick and supportive heals, but clearly they are not dressy. I thought the Traveler Rove would satisfy that. I am a little disappointed that there is not more height and cushion in the heal, but after walking a considerable distant, the shoe is still very comfortable. I have noticed some add additional foot and heal support, but I am not sure that is needed. All in all, I am happy with the purchase. Incidentally, I was given another version of Merrell shoes, the Legend I believe, but they are not comfortable to me. If comfort is the biggest issue, I can recommend the Traveler Rove and it is an upgrade in appearance over the Jungle Moc.
