These are fine for using as an everyday shoe, but they are not a great hiking shoe. Because of the low shoe design, you cannot lace them up tightly. I can actually take the shoe off and on without unlacing it. The toe box is narrow for a Keen.

Pros: Great looking shoe, good traction in bad weather, nice wide tread if you are on your feet a lot
Cons: Narrow toe box(order up a half size if you like toe room), lacing design

I have been purchasing this shoe for YEARS now, and have owned AT LEAST 10 pairs. These shoes are indestructible; I trail run in them, hike in them, wear them around the house. I usually FINALLY get rid of them because I wear the soles bare of traction, and they get too dirty, NOT because they get holes, separate from their soles etc. I suffered from plantar fasciitis for a full year and these were the only shoes my podiatrist wanted me to wear; in any other shoe I suffered setbacks or had to walk incredibly carefully to avoid pain. The only criticism I have of them is that I want more color options! They run a little large, which I appreciate since I'm an 11.5 with a super narrow foot so can't wear 12s; this 11 fits me and I can cinch it tightly enough with the lacing system. If these fit your foot, you will be glad you purchased them.

Totally fake and will totally be sending them back.

The title says it all: these clogs are very comfy; they're cute too! A little bit about my needs for a shoe: they shouldn't pinch or rub my toes or any part of my feet, they should have a little arch support, a snug fit, and be light. They need to look at least a little fashionable for my age (which is late 20's), because I would be wearing them for work. In addition, since I walk from the subway to work and back every weekday, I needed thicker soles that would last a while before wearing through. I think most working women have that same kind of dilemma in looking for shoes - finding affordable shoes that are comfortable and fashionable, and I think these fit our needs.

These are my first pair of Ahnus, and I am impressed by the quality of materials, their look and comfort. They didn't require any break-in time; they were ready for major walking right out of the box. The only thing that disappointed me was how easily they scuffed/scratched. I got the port royal color, and if I accidently rubbed the shoe on a chair leg or something touched the outside leather, a light discolored mark would appear. I've never had leather shoes that marked so easily. This was just with normal wear in the office and walking outside. Even with that caveat, I still highly recommend these shoes. They are definitely worth the price if they hold up for a few years.

I was very pleased with the look of these boots - however, the leather is not of the best quality, nor was the sole of the boot thick enough. You know how soles can be so think on boots that your feet just ache from feeling like you're walking on the pavement without shoes at all. Well that's how these feel. I ended up having to spend a TON of money to have them redone on the bottom. Plus - they were rather expensive for the sole problem and the leather quality.
