They've re-configured the toebox area. Hallelujah! My bunions and large toenails are no longer smashing into stitched seams. I couldn't be more pleased.

I've been wearing this series starting with the WW810, if I remember correctly. Every year or two NB gives the style a new number upwards and raises the price. I didn't see any change in the shoe with the 811's. But the 812's are really different in the toebox.

I wear orthotics but don't remove the insoles. I chose the Velcro straps style because I am losing strength in my hands and tying laces has become problematic. NB's velcro is kind to hands too.

Would I recommend these shoes to others? YES!!! And I am grateful to Amazon having a lower price that allowed me to be able to purchase the shoes. I am so happy!
