I weld to feed my family and here's a tradesman's review ....
ITS THE BEST BOOT I've EVER SEEN. HANDS DOWN.
The sole is rubber (non conductive), its soft, pliable, durable, and has an excellent non skid tread. Its also reinforced with a durable shank ( you can actually see it suspended in the rubber. Very, very comfortable.
The sole is fused to the upper and heavily stitched.
The upper is well sown, well padded, snug yet roomy.
Durable scrape pad sown on front.
Steel protection from toe to ankle up top(can easily withstand a heavy object falling on your foot), if you're like me and construction is your gig, nothing more important in a work boot.
Met guard is well padded, well stitched,.(if you weld- its has double value.......it also keeps molten slag out of your laces. That could make for a bad day).
Besides all this of that.......it looks kick*** !!!
And for the review that said his sole burned off in some industrial site..... dude must be walking in a acid factory after a spill or maybe a corrosive waste plant where its cool to let corrosives just pudding the floor? .......I'VE CONSTANTLY WALKED ON CONCRETE, NON SKID DECKING, STEEL GRATING, - IF ITS FOUND IN CONSTRUCTION, I'VE WALKED ON IT IN THESE BOOTS. TWO MONTHS NOW AND EXCEPT FOR DIRT AND GRIME THERE EXACTLY AS I TOOK EM OUT OF THE BOX!!!!
