I was real dubious about these even reading reviews you really never now what your getting until the product is in your hand and actually worn. But these shoes surpass expectations beyond all measure, I'm not gonna sit here and tell you I'll stop wearing and buying my Redwings , but Im also not gonna stop buying Thorogood's (unless they're absolutley destroyed, only cause i want to break them in and resole them once I have done wearing them out) These shoes will go toe to toe with Redwings(pun intended) the only real difference I can tell is the leather which is a bit more supple and broken in than the Redwing's, oh and the size which is a tad bigger, SO if you want a show thats flush with your toes order by one size smaller(no deal breaker for me because I like the comfort they provide). Overall 10 stars, Like I said I'm not gonna abandon my Redwing, but I'm a official Thorogood fan for life, and one more detail they run about 150 to 100 dollars less, so in that department they surpass the Redwing. Also before i wrap up if you like to resole your shoes go to Resole.com, i haven't done this yet but I'm about to.Take care and have a great day folks.
