I'll start with fit. I found these to be slightly long but still basically true to size. I wear size 9.5, which is slightly long for this shoe, but overall it still fits well. I tried on the size 9 also, but even though the length was good for the 9, it was far too narrow, so I ended up going with the 9.5. Overall, it fits fine, but I need to wear slightly thicker cotton dress socks instead of the thin ones I normally wear. I suspect the size 9 WIDE would fit the best, but it was out of stock when I ordered.

Appearance: I bought both the dark brown and the blue versions. As for the dark brown version, I was slightly disappointed with the initial appearance because in real life the canvas part of the shoe is more of an orange color than the red that is featured in the pictures. The pictures make it appear more redish which looks so classy. However, I still get tons of compliments on these shoes and the orange tint of the canvas is growing on me. I also suspect that an application of canvas shoe water protectant will deepen the color of the canvas. I will try this and update my review. Despite this minor draw back in appearance, these are the best looking pair of shoes I own. I have no complaints whatsoever on the styling of the blue version. It's perfect. Even though the overall design is the same, the red and blue shoes look very different and unique from one another due to the blue being made from suede and featuring more pronounced contrast stitching.

I would recommend buying some quality shoe polish/conditioner for the brown pair, and suede water protectant spray and care kit for the blue pair. These are my favorite shoes and if they are taken care of, they should last for a long time.
