The size runs similar to my MBT Kaya Mary Jane, but I did order one size bigger fearing the ankle might run small. Turns out it was a good decision since the boots have no lining, for winter wearing, I wear an additional pair of long socks over my regular socks so it's warmer in the snow, and also I can pull downward the upper part of the long socks over the edge of the calf make it less rubbing. Good leather, very comfy. I don't think I'll wear any other boots any more!
