Ariat Men's Rambler Western Boot,Moccasin,13 M US Review

Admittedly - I like the style of this boot. I don't usually wear "cowboy" boots but I like this boot (square toe, wide heal, soft upper, broken in look)

Sizing - many folks have commented (obviously on other pages) that the sizing runs big on this model. I find that my usual size (91/2 medium) fits me in width but is a tad long on the toe. I can live with that, but I can't help but wonder how it would fit if I had gone to a smaller, wider size. I couldn't find a bricks and mortar store with this model within 100 miles. I tried a 9 med. and returned it.

There are several models of the Rambler, some of them, have round toes. I have "moccasin". This also seems to be listed as "brown" on some websites. It has a broken in appearance but does not look worn. It is comfortable but like all boots needed to be broken in a bit. It is not "tennis shoe" comfortable.

A long shoehorn is indispensable for putting it on. It comes off easy enough.

The size runs similar to my MBT Kaya Mary Jane, but I did order one size bigger fearing the ankle might run small. Turns out it was a good decision since the boots have no lining, for winter wearing, I wear an additional pair of long socks over my regular socks so it's warmer in the snow, and also I can pull downward the upper part of the long socks over the edge of the calf make it less rubbing. Good leather, very comfy. I don't think I'll wear any other boots any more!

Was so undecided on the colour. Saw the brown ones at the mall but ended up getting the black. Classy and hot! I wear them under jeans, over jeans and tights. Might get the brown pair when they go on sale. At 5'10, I dont need a lot of heel but love a lot of style. Normally take a size 11 but the 10.5 fit just right. Tried the size 11 on at the mall and they were a bit wide and 190 bucks I might add. So you are saving by ordering through Amazon! Totally recommend these shoes to anyone who wants style with comfort.

I love these boots so much that I ordered them in two colors. They have sheepskin insoles and real suede leather and lamb's fur outside. Someone was trying to get $200 for these on Ebay, but I got them here for a little more than half that. Shipping was fast...bought them late Sunday night and they were here by Wednesday. Bearpaws do run slightly small, so if you want to wear heavy socks go up a size. But really their boots are so warm, you wouldn't need heavy socks anyway. These are a nice economical alternative to Ugg Fluff Mommas...a boot you won't see on everyone else. Maybe I will get another pair for a spare!!
